On Saturday, we had an 8th grade
graduation party for Alexis. Due to her love of Japan, the culture, the people, the language, we went with a Japanese theme: Cherry Blossoms. The party wasn't a surprise, but the theme was kept from her for months. Because she's vegetarian, we served vegetarian Japanese dishes. After the party, which was about 4 hours long, we went to the Orlando Science Center. What a wonderful day!
Here is a sampling of the shots from the party:
 |
| My crafty daughter and her friend made the Cherry Blossom branches from branches and tissue paper. |

| Chop stick party favors help form the centerpiece. |
 |
| Her expression captured as she walked in to see the party setup. |
